04/2017 - 05/2016 | · Eleven-month research period in the Laboratory of Honeybee Protection of the College of Bee Sciences Topic of the research conducted: De novo assembly of a reference transcriptome and development of SSR markers for Ascosphaera apis. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Dafu Chen. This study aimed at sequencing the purified spores of Ascosphaera apis and the honeybee larval gut infected with A. apis using RNA seq technology. The goal was to assemble de novo a reference transcriptome for A. apis to conduct functional and metabolic pathway annotation, and to develop SSR markers for A. apis. |
